## About the Job
As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the security posture of our software development and operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain secure and scalable systems, automate security processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. The ideal candidate is passionate about security, possesses strong technical skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
## How You'll Contribute
Develop and implement security measures and controls to safeguard the organization's software applications, systems, and infrastructure
Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps processes
Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools and practices.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security code reviews to identify and address potential security vulnerabilities
Automate security processes, such as security scanning, testing, and monitoring, to ensure continuous security compliance and early detection of security issues
Monitor and analyze security logs, metrics, and alerts to identify and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
Stay up to date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, and proactively recommend security enhancements and best practices
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines
Conduct security training and awareness programs to educate development and operations teams on secure coding practices and security protocols
**Who You Are**
5+ experience as a DevSecOps Engineer or a similar role, with a strong focus on security in the software development and operations lifecycle
Deep understanding of security principles, best practices, and frameworks
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP) and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform/CloudFormation)
Hands-on experience in Kubernetes and it's automation practices
Proficiency in scripting languages and experience with automation and configuration management tools
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies and associated security practices
Experience with security scanning tools, vulnerability management platforms, and secure code analysis tools
Knowledge of network security, web application security, and secure coding practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
